Morning Registration Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Will work
in teams of two – one will check in guests - verifying info in computer
and ensuring CC is on file; partner will write bid number on wristband
and sell chances for the chipping contest, etc.
- Will need to provide own laptop for checking in guests – must be a newer computer to access internet
Time Commitment: 3 hours, 7am-10am
Morning Event Setup Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in set up/breakdown of registration and morning events
- Interact with guest, answer questions about TD & the event
- Light lifting
- Organizing
Time Commitment: 5 hours, 6:30 – 11:30 am
Morning Course Setup Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Course
setup for day. Ensure all holes with activity/ food/ beverage are
adequately setup and stocked with assigned gear and/or supplies
- Driving and lifting
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours, Starts at 7 am
Morning Hole Volunteer:
Key Responsibilities:
- Remain at hole during course play
- Help keep hole clean and neat
- Interact with golfers throughout shift, networking on behalf of Troops Direct
- Assist with on-course activity (food, beverage, activity)
- Help ensure pace of golf play
- Energetic and fun
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours, Starts at 8:30 am
Afternoon Hole Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Remain at hole during course play
- Help keep hole clean and neat
- Interact with golfers throughout shift, networking on behalf of Troops Direct
- Assist with on-course activity (food, beverage, activity)
- Help ensure pace of golf play
- Energetic and fun
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours, Starts at 11:30 am
Decor Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Some heavy lifting
- Set up flags, signs, etc.
- Set tables, decorations
Time Commitment: 5 hours, 10am – 3pm
Evening Registration/check-out Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Have own laptop (newer) to access internet
- Check in dinner-only guests
- Input sales when auction sheets are delivered from Auctioneer’s team
- Close out guests at the end of the evening
- Assist with tear-down/clean-up of Check-Out area
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours, 3:30pm-7:30pm
Auction Volunteer - Evening
Key Responsibilities:
- Create displays for silent auction
- Delivery of winning item to bidder
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours, 3:30pm-7:30pm
Evening Clean-up Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Break down evening festivities and load trailer – facility must be 100% clean of event items
- Box decorations from tables
- Load trailer (evening)
- Unload trailer and pack into storage – coordinate with Aaron/Jason/Adina (next day)
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours, 7:30pm – 9:30pm
